Nutrition for Every Body
The following services are available to all clients, regardless of age or gender.
Metabolic Health & Weight Management
Sustainable strategies for fat loss, body composition change, and long-term metabolic health. Verena builds individualized plans covering calorie balance, protein targets, meal timing, and lifestyle habits — without restrictive diets or one-size-fits-all approaches.
Blood Sugar & Diabetes Nutrition
Evidence-based nutrition strategies to regulate blood glucose, reduce abdominal fat, and improve energy. Appropriate for insulin resistance, prediabetes, and Type 2 diabetes — as well as anyone who wants better metabolic health.
Heart & Cardiovascular Health
Dietary strategies grounded in current evidence to improve cholesterol levels, support healthy blood pressure, and reduce long-term cardiovascular risk. Practical and sustainable — no unnecessary food restriction.
Digestive Health
Practical support for bloating, acid reflux, IBS, irregular digestion, and food intolerances. The goal is comfortable, predictable digestion — without eliminating entire food groups unless there is a clinical reason to do so.
Injury Recovery & Rehabilitation Nutrition
Targeted nutrition to support healing after injury or surgery. Strategies focus on preserving muscle mass during reduced activity, supporting tissue repair, and optimizing recovery alongside physiotherapy. Particularly relevant for clients at Kinetic Evolution Clinic.
Healthy Aging & Vitality
Nutrition strategies to maintain muscle mass, sustain energy, and support metabolic health as you age. Evidence-based guidance for staying strong and vital through your 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond — for both men and women.
Practical Nutrition for Busy Professionals
Simple, realistic strategies for eating well despite a demanding schedule. Covers efficient meal planning, smart choices when eating out, high-protein options on the go, and habits that do not require hours in the kitchen.
Sports & Strength Training Nutrition
Nutrition guidance for recreational and competitive athletes. Covers fueling strategies for endurance and strength sports, hydration, recovery nutrition, and performance optimization — from weekend warriors to serious competitors.
Men’s Nutrition
Verena works with men on everything from body composition and sports performance to blood sugar, heart health, and fertility. Around 20% of her clients are men — referred by GPs, physiotherapists, and by word of mouth. If you have been told to eat better by your doctor but do not know where to start — this is where you start.
Body Composition & Muscle Building
Individualized strategies for men who want to lose body fat, build muscle, or both. Covers calorie balance, protein intake, fueling for training, recovery nutrition, and sustainable daily habits. No crash diets. No generic plans.
Men’s Fertility & Reproductive Health
Nutrition strategies to support male reproductive health — including factors that influence testosterone levels, sperm quality, and overall metabolic function. Evidence-based, practical, and completely confidential.
Men’s Health Over 40
After 40, metabolic rate slows, muscle mass naturally declines, and energy patterns shift. Verena’s approach focuses on maintaining strength, managing weight, improving blood sugar and cardiovascular markers, and sustaining long-term vitality. Practical strategies — built around your lifestyle, not against it.

Does My Insurance Cover This?
Many extended health benefit plans cover registered dietitian services. Coverage varies by plan — some cover $300–$1,000 or more annually. Check your plan documents or call your provider to confirm your entitlement before booking.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No referral needed — you can book directly. Some insurance plans require a physician referral for reimbursement, so check your policy first.
Will I get a receipt I can submit to my insurer?
Yes. You will receive an official receipt after each session that you can submit directly to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Does BC MSP cover dietitian services?
No. MSP does not cover registered dietitian services. Coverage comes through extended health benefits — employer plans, union benefits, or individual policies.
What if I don’t have extended health coverage?
Sessions are available on a self-pay basis. Investing in evidence-based nutrition support now can reduce long-term health costs. Contact Verena to discuss options.
